Family Portraits
One of the main reasons I became a photographer is because when I had my own children, I quickly understood the importance of capturing the family at each stage of life. The family dynamic changes so rapidly; new family members are added, babies grow up and start school, then before you know it, they're off to college and next getting married! Cue the waterworks!
Family Portraits are a way to encapsulate the family at that particular moment in time, marking new changes and chapters. Portraits actually become the most valuable heirlooms that tell future generations that you were there, when you may not actually be there any longer. Family pictures are in one word: everything.
